Leave the Rat Race and Pursue Your Own Path Book
Have you ever felt as if there should be more to this thing called life? Said things to yourself like: “If I only had x in place I could finally do y.” But then x never seems to fall into place, the years go by and suddenly you find yourself living a life you never intended to when you started out.
You’re not alone. Many of the people you meet are deep down inside longing for a different life.
Most wants to quit their job and be their own boss so they can design their own schedule and do something they are passionate about. Life after all is about feeling fully alive, not sleepwalking through life.
I know the feeling! After many years in corporate seeking new challenges and opportunities that kept me learning and growing (essential components for feeling alive) I hit a stagnant period and started itching for doing something different. Something new. Something that gave me more freedom to travel, set my own schedule and be in charge of my own path.
The itch to run my own show took over and I started figuring out how to leave the traditional rat race and how to create the kind of life that better suited me.
Now, before you think it’s just one simple leap I’m here to tell you it seldom is. But you also have great control of how fast you leap, depending on the actions you take. Massive action tends to lead to faster results, assuming you’re working on the right things.
Sadly there’s so much garbage information out there making you think it’s easy to leave a job and become your own boss. People are making bank on fooling you into believing you can have a successful business overnight. Starting your own business takes time, patience, lots of pivots and learning, adjusting and work. But here’s the thing - the time will pass anyway so you might as well get started and by doing so you’re at least moving towards what you want and step by step get you off the hamster wheel.
In this short 38 page book I share the steps I took. Now, like I said, this isn’t an overnight process and for most will take years, but it helps to have an idea of a path to follow. As with any advice, suggestions and how-to’s it’s about taking what works for you and throw out the rest. No system fits everyone, but these steps should give you a good foundation on how you can leave the rat race.
The journey has begun! Let’s go for a ride….
To YOUR future,
